Could someone direct me to where the rear window motor grounds. I see a small wire on an eyelet on the drivers side rear... Small gauge wire, is this it?

Thanks!

Ground is the motor case itself, which then uses the tailgate as a ground path and the hinges actually ground to the frame. This was a mistake by Chevy because when corrosion or rust builds up between the hinges and tailpan then the motor seems to get weak when in reality it's just a large resistance that's created. The best thing to do is run a dedicated ground wire from the motor case to the frame.

Interesting. Strange my was working "ok" till tonight. Almost sounds like one of the rods is dragging on the glass. Then again it's 3am my time so it's time to play "diagnostic dartboard".

GM got the memo by 1991. Factory Ground, all be it a small gauge.
