Tailgate window motor cable?

Started tearing my tailgate on my 89 K5 apart to figure out why the window locked up and discovered that the cable that runs from the electric motor to the drive gear had locked up. Tried to break the cable free by hooking a drill to it, but that wound up breaking it cuz it had rusted up inside evidently. Anybody got a part # for that or know where to get one, cuz the local parts shops around me are clueless

my rear window is kinda slow, I thought it could be the motor. Im gonna change the cable first.

well, check it thoroughly first. My window was real slow then just stopped. Assumed it was motor, but motor is perfectly fine, along with gears and drive gear. If your cable looks rusty like mine did. Its probably time
