Tailgate Window motor won't go down

little trick.....assuming the back key works... put the key in and turn to lower the window. while you are turning the key...push in and out hard on the tailgate.. I have to do this to mine sometimes.. dont know if it has to do with ground or safety switch
The back key does not work for me. I don't have the key for the tumbler.
I accidentally locked the tailgate when i was working on it.
So I got the window down, shut the tailgate,and then couldn't get it open again! 
I had to take the bolts out of the latch mechanism to get it back open. Then went back inside the hatch and removed the locking bar.
The window motor is about to die. That's easy to fix.
