The vehicle in question is an 83 Suburban. It has an electric rear window. The problem is that the rear defroster does not work. I opened it up and the wires for the defroster are not hooked up. Not only that but there is a wire the previous owner put in the connecter to complete the circuit.
Well, I hook the wire up and then my tailgate window does not work. It works if I put it back like it was.
After looking a bit more I see the wire on the other side(driver side) is just hanging there. I make my best guess about where it goes, but still not working.
I not very good with electrical problems and I'm stumped on this. Any ideas?
