Taillight grills??

Any way to protect taillights and add some off road style?

I had a '75 Chevy pickup with Stainless Steel guards from Go Rhino - they were off of a certain year Ford Explorer.

They looked pretty good for a truck from the '90s I thought - I only got a little bit of grief when I posted pics up on here.

I'll see if I can find the pics. :D:D

Just to point out that they ARE Lexan and hard as nails. You'd have to apply a lot of force to shatter them. Grilles that would protect the lights from that kind of force would have to spread the energy out onto the sheetmetal, so you'd be borking up your quarter panels. Lights are a helluva lot cheaper than sheetmetal!

OTOH, if you're solely after style, have at it. Be easy enough to bend up some 3/16" rod and weld it up if you had the tools.

I don't think I have any pics of it ( I will see if i can find some) but I took the stock tailights out and welded in a cover and put oval trailer lights in no more problems, I also inset a side marker light to stay legal
