i know most of you hillbillys like running dumps but who has some nice tailpipes? Trying to finalize exhaust plans for the old beater. Already got worn out cherry bombs and turn downs

For a K5 with a back window, the general consensus is to exit on the side, behind the rear wheel. Whether you go to one side or both sides is a matter of preference.

I don't have any pictures, but all 5 of mine have tailpipes cuz I hate the "pigpen" type of dust cloud with turn downs....
I do want to do one through the bottom of the quarter panel someday!

Out the side on both sides with a tasteful tip angled slightly down.

The borla on mine right now is center in/center out. The 2.5" flowstoppers I took off where center in/offset outlet.

I like your idea, and on the mufflers, you will have to look and see what will work the best. I wonder if offset in/ center out would be helpful in your situation.
Or possibly flip that????

Yeah I may have to just crawl under and get measurements or see what the exhaust shop guys say.

At this point I'm just looking at the different options for mufflers. Want a nice clean sound, something that makes the cam thump but that won't drown out the radio going down the road topless.

Thrush welded

I have duals now but need to go 2 into 1 to make room for anti-wrap...

I wouldn't ever put flowmasters on a suv, the drone is horrible.

Thrush welded. Basically a 40 series 2 chamber flow master at way less $$$.

I've had flows on a blazer before, but just a single side exit.

I hate cherry bombs with a passion sorry.

The glass packs. I have dual 18" dumped right now and it sounds like shit at everything but idle. I may end up with the thrush welded mufflers.
