just what the title says. the blazer has a shackle flip in the rear with 2" lift springs so 6" lift. i can't get a good pic of the angle coming off the t-case b/c of the mufflers, but i used a piece of wire and bent it so it was the same as the angle coming off the t-case and got the pinion as close as i could with that as a reference...

I have one I can bring. When do you want to weld the perches on?

how does wednesday sound? any time after lunch. also do you want me to clean the paint off where you'll be welding or can you burn through it?

Paint will have to come off, down to bare, clean and oil free metal. Same thing for the perches.
I will bring my grinder/flap disks just in case.

I will let you know about Wednesday. I have a meeting scheduled with the CAPT, a few CDR's and a LCDR that I might not be able to change. If I can't then the earliest I could get the G-Port would be around 1600.

Make ya a bet if you put longer shackles on there the pinion would go perfect...

On my truck the pinion angle was off a bit. I did 56in rear leafs, shackle flip switched around, and 8in shackles and the pinion is perfecto.

Speaking of that, I need to check mine soon. You guys know what the pinion should be set at?

on what a k5?

That looks almost the same angle as mine , And when I hit the brakes hard the u-joint trys to bind up..
BUT you have new springs AND no blocks. So yours may not do that.
But Im going to shim mine up 6* , and see if it gos away..I guess shackles are next. :dunno:

I can be there as early as you want me to be. Give me a call on my cell with good directions to your place and a time. We'll get you axle installed.:waytogo:

I am going to be heading to the NFCU in Gulfport, then I am available to weld.
I should be leaving the house in about 30 minutes.
