Talk me into renewing my CK5 membership.

How could you NOT. What is wrong with you? Are you turning into a nancy boy? Does this help. :D :haha:Real men have CK5 memberships.

:haha:

???? If you need us to talk you into it, then maybe you shouldn't

I joined CK5 for tech. I guess I've slacked off cuz there's only so much you can learn about chevys and only so many ways you can build them. I feel like the good ole days when the chevy thing was evolving have passed. Like back when BadDog was building his, etc. I can't think of all the other ones, but you get the idea. I don't even wheel a chevy anymore, though my blazer may get reincarnated as a big bad CJ-7.

check your shorts.....are they still in there.

Nope......get them back from your wife/girlfriend, and proceed to next step.

Yep......Then sign up.

Well, a little more info would help. Right now, you'll only get input from the recently converted newbies who need to jump on this bandwagon to justify their own expenditure of $25. And maybe from a few die-hards...

Did you change your handle? Looks like you been here forever but it doesn't ring any bells.

I know - everyone PM me and buy all my stuff for sale. Then I will have to register to PM you back, I think. :D

I agree with Michael. We need to know what's on your mind.

But I'll give you a little spiel anyways...........:rotfl:

Where else on the Net can you find so many K-series guys, all in one place???

When's the last time a $25 investment had the potential to save you hundreds of dollars worth of sweat, blood and tears???

Lastly, and most importantly, where else can you find a "Brotherhood" like CK5's????

C'mon back, David...........:thumb:

I dunno about the saving me money thing...how exactly would that work?

Granted, there are lots of K-series guys here, and nothing against them, but doesn't seem to be a lot going on very hardcore. Body mods, one tons, rockwells, 40" plus tires....?

Now it is nice to hear from Can Can....14,00, eh? Gettin' up there. :D

I think a lot of my absence has been due to the fact that after living here in this isolated corner of CA for 11 years, I've finally gotten some local wheeling buddies/local forum I hang out on a lot. We wheel practically every weekend, and sometimes even week nights.

renew for when you mess somethin up wheelin and need a replacement part STAT!!!

im all for real wheelin OFF the intarwebs.

Nope, still the same handle. Been here longer than you :D.

I've been asking myself the same question at renewal time for a few years now. Agreed, all this rah-rah-best-Chevy-tech-stuff-on-the-web gets pretty meaningless after a while. Then again, for me it's been just a few bucks for a simple way to keep in touch with a few friends...

Well, try this one on for size:

$25/12 months per year = $2 per month.

If being on CK5 JUST ONCE A MONTH prevents you from going out to the bar/going window shopping/spending more than $2 on something, somewhere, then you're ahead of the game. It's simple economics, eh?

Plus you get to PM me any old time you want.........:deal:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Get back, get back, get back to where you once belonged...........:thumb:

Maybe....

when did CK5 start? I was around when it did, but didn't register til a year or two later, something like that...when I went Chevy...and now I'm going Cheveep with the same old Jeep. :D

... but didn't register til ...

Dude. That don't count. :D Every freaking 15-post newbie claims that, too.

Come up with something better :wink1:. Until then, numbers are numbers....
