Okay, my thinking on this. If someone go's with the hassel of one of those bolt on superchargers, then why wouldn't they go with a set of headers also ??? The whole point of a supercharger is too make more power, why would you want too restrict the exhaust if making more power is the goal ??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif BTW, What hassels are you refering to with hearders ???

You missed the whole point of our conversation. Only reason a super charger was brought up is because Tim said: "Headers will gain you more than any other modification for power that you can do to your truck."
Headers hassels include, burnout gaskets/leaking, rusting out, cracking, etc.. But my point is that duals are not worthless or a waste of time/money without headers like Tim is claiming.
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, I just read the last post I replied to. But I've got too add my 2 cents to this also. I haven't had those problems with headers, but then again, I always spend a few bucks more for the higher quality stuff. For the K5, I would use the Thorley Tri-Y's. I belive they are very well built out of thicker metal. Gaskets, I like the
collectors Flange I do maintain them by tighting the bolts everytime I do a oil change, but that's no big deal in my opinion.
