Im looking at dropping a tall deck big block chevy in my truck. Im having a hard time finding headers for it. Id assume there is a difference with the standard and tall deck headers? Thank you

I have just used normal headers with no issues Hooker super comps

I didnt know if the height difference would effect it. I was thinking of a 2.25" primary tube to get the flow i need.

.4 inch taller deck hight if I recall.

just bolt on a set of good ones .

and what the hell you need 2.25" primary tubes for ?

632ci ......i may just go with a 540ci so i dont break as many parts......

Upgraded dana 60 with arb airlocker for the front and 14 bolt rear with detroit locker... 5.13 gears..... ord crossover steering with psc hydro assit system... the tansmission is from monster trans... ive been saving for years and things will start comming together with in the next few months

What kind of truck, 53 like your user name, square body or..?

With 5.13's I guess you're going with a 38"+ tire?

Sounds like a cool build. Any header for BBC will work but have you considered just building a kit? Not many setups in that primary size. Could give kooks a call.

Well im almost at the point of mating the xcase and transmission. I did find some "truck pulling " headers that are the correct size and for our square bodies. Ill be running a 39.5x18 to a 46" tire.
