Im looking for at least a 36, prefer a 37" tire and as narrow as I can get for a 17" wheel. I am finding a lot of 12.50's but I was really hoping for a 10" or 9" wide tire. I'm coming up with Jack nothing. Only requirement is at least 10 ply.

I think they have a 37x12x17 sx II

I have never seen a 37x10.5x anything .

Mickey Thompson used to make some odd metric sizes but they were usually wide, not narrow.

Speaking of swampers I've always been a fan of the truxus MT. Great on icy roads. A bit fast wearing, but great traction

Running the 17's is the minimum I can do on the super duty axles. I can run a 16 or 16.5 but they would need to be really shallow back spacing as they won't clear. So I am sort of stuck on the 17's to clear everything.

I just checked their website and the tallest 10" tire they well is a 35. The 37x12x17's might be my only option. I was hoping some other manufacturer had something out there that I had not seen.

I've been on the same mission for weeks for my 16" dually tires!!! Interco is basically the only company I can find with a tall skinny. Everything is 12.5 in radial. I'm stuck as well even after considering buying 17" steel wheels they just aren't making them. Currently I'm running 38.5x11-16 boggers but they're a bit gnar for the tow rig! And I'd hate to wear them out on the highway if I could even get past the flat spots. Let me know if you find anything that hasn't been mentioned

1100-16's are nice on a Dually. Not quite 38 tall but they are much narrower. Like a 9" tread width.

Do they make a tire with that type of measurement in a 17? Seems that would be the ticket for you

The Michelin 11.00R16’s have been out of production for over a decade. Any you find will be old military surplus of dubious life expectancy.

That said, you might look into some of the military and HD truck options out there from Michelin and Continental among others.

Cooper makes their AT3 in a 305/70r17 which is 34x12. I just ordered a set for the Dodge.

They also make a 285/75r18 which is a 35x11.5. I know wrong rim size but it's closer to the tire you want.

I think the problem you have is you need the wider tire to have more lateral stability. A tall skinny tire is more likely to fold sideways under lateral loads.

Ok so here is a tangent.
If you want narrow and heavy duty tires, you have another option but it's not 17" rims.
Get yourself some 19.5" rims and use one of the many sizes ranging from 36" to 42".
There are companies that make single wheels in 19.5" now for RV's that don't want dually but want the g load rating
