Anyone who is active have a large sub?

I personaly think for thier size they need to sit taller then say a truck or k5.

How do you mean? Mine is not tall by a long shot, but it is eye catching. How much taller do you think they should be then a truck?

I think atleast 2" taller then a truck, just makes em look more proportional.
I'm at 14" on mine, sorry no pics just the front is sitting at 8" til I swap springs and the rear is just a 2nd gen flip brackets right now til i get the old axle out.

It looks good, but like I said with mine - its really too tall. What I mean is that it is too tall to be useful for what I want to do. Once they get that tall, they becme even more top heavy and get a little scary. I suppose that it depends on what your goal is. Show truck is not in my future.

have 4" lift and 39.5's. Little bit o trimming. This is 10" shorter wheelbase than my crewcab with a 6" lift and 38's and it looks to sit about the same height. A little longer wheel base than my 84 with same 6" lift and 38's. wish i could post a pic, but only the red truck one was the right size and i don't have a program to resize the sub or blue truck pics with

What size tires and how much lift?

That is almost exaclty the look I want to get with mine, just different wheels and with the roof rack and bumpers I designed.

ive seen it on cardomain.com. i love that one. ive always wanted it. those are 49" iroks on 18" of lift.

I figured it was around that size of tire.

I like it but I'm not sure if I really want to stuff 49"s under my rig yet.
But at least I know they make them for 16.5's I'll just have to get mine widened.

I figure a mild injected 454 ought to be enough motivation for me.

I know this is sub forum.....but heres a '76 K5 from another Alberta guy with 49s. for comparison.
