Tank Refurbishing

Was looking at the tank resto kits in Eastwood catalog. Realized I can purchase 1 gallon of sealer from JCWhitney for price of kit. I figure the metal treatment stuff is plain ol' Metal Prep like I get from the paint supply house.Does anyone know what is used to remove the rust from inside tank? I need to do two large tanks so buying the sealer only and doing the rest with off the shelf chemicals would really save money. Thanks in advance for

I have had good luck having gas tanks boiled out or cleaned at the local radiator shop.
