I'm putting a tbi system in my '80 short bed, and it previously had the two saddle bag tanks. I was looking to mount one large tbi tank in the back, under the bed. I have tried a tbi tank from a burb and blazer, yet they will not fit due to either the front hanger mount position, or they are too close to the top of my rear diff. Any suggestions on a tank from another make or model that will fit? Thanx

I have the 31 GAL in the bed of my truck right behind the cab. Just cut a hole in the bed and side it down and strap it in. The only downside is you loose room in the bed. No big for me because I don't haul any thing at all in there.

well i already have a tool box and custom full size tire carrier right behind the cab in the bed, so there isnt much space already. And the bed is really clean, so I wouldnt like to cut it. Thanx though. Any other ideas?

This is the inside of the bed. as you can see, not much space for a tank behind the cab, and i would really like to keep the remaining floor space.

thats what i was thinking. A late model tank from another gm vehicle. but isnt that tank size close to a blazer's tank? Any idea on years though? or just any two door?

how about a fuel cell in the tool box, just use the left half. open the lid and filler up. use the other half for your stuff...

kinda a hassle though. My truck has a 9 inch lift, and the tool box and carrier is locked. need to redesign it for ease of use. the tool box is small too. Thanx though!!
