The TBI 350 in my 88 Jimmy lost its mind. It was fine on the drive to work but when I went to head for home she is acting up. The idle is at like 2,000 and wont come down and she has a miss. The Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil and oil were all done 2 months ago and she has been fine. The check engine light is not on and I made sure the linkage is not stuck. I had to get a ride home as I did not want to risk rear ending some one. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Pull it off and clean it with carb cleaner.
Also Check for Vacuum Leaks! Broken cracked vac lines ect.

It was the cruise control deal near the throttle body. Its kaput and was
holding the throttle open. Thanks for the input guys you had me in the
correct area.
