Ok i am switching to a tbi based 454 and i have a few questions.

1. Will a 4 core radiator for a 6.2 diesel be good for cooling?

2. I need to find a flywheel cause i am also switching to a 465 at the same time what do i need to look for as far as rear main size and balanceing?

3. I have a fly wheel out of a 79 350 will this work?

4. Is the ditributer different from a small block or can i run a hei from a 350 ?

Thanks Denny

is it a DIS motor? And your gonna have to get a flywheel for a big block. Radiator sounds good just take it to a shop and get it checked if its used.

radiator is brand new so good there. The motor is out of a mid 90's truck that all the info i have on it at the moment. When it comes to big blocks i have no idea about them.

1) Yes - it's one of the bigger/better radiators out there.

2&3) You need a big-block flywheel

4) No - a BB TBI distro is much different than a SB HEI.

call this guy for the flywheel he has everyone you could ever imagine. 570-455-3095.

Sweet thanks guys one more question is there a difference in the older 454 flywheels and the newer ones like the old carb motor verus the tbi motor

not sure on that. but if you call that number i gave you and tell them what year block your running and what year trans they'll set you up right. most of there flywheels are $149.95!!
