Sounds like a problem for future me.

I'm about to drop a freshly rebuilt motor into my 1991 K5. Though I had the foresight to take tons of pictures when removing the old motor, I didn't have the foresight to not loose the SD card the pictures are on.

I have all the EGR hooked up the right way, no problem there. I don't, however, have any idea where or how to run the lines to the cruise control module and the heater vents. I seem to remember a check valve? I pulled the original motor about two years ago...

Does anyone have a picture or a diagram how these vacuum accessory lines are run?

Thanks in advance!

I can't vouch for a '91, but were they run to a vacuum canister? I want to think that all AC trucks had the vacuum canister so that the blend doors didn't move when you stepped on the throttle.

Both would be hooked to manifold vacuum, ultimately.

That's something I hadn't thought off and is making a lot of sense, thanks!
