i got some headers for my k5 (87) my truck is tbi what is involved in taking off the smog crap? will my ac bracket still mount correctly? im planning on installing them in a week or so just want to make sure they will work. oh yea, the headers were for a 85 k5. i just want to make sure that the headers for the carb motor will work with my tbi stuff. thanks!

Your gonna have to put in a fitting for the oxygen sensor.

The A/C bracket will require an aftermarket bracket or modification.
If you're changing to headers, unless they are shorties, you're going to need exhaust modification.
If your manifolds are good and you're going to throw them away I kinda need a right side manifold myself. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
