ok, so Summit says the Edelbrock cam part number EDL-3702 is the only one that wont set off the computer on my TBI motor i am building.
specs are as follows duration at .050 intake 194* exa 214* lift intake .398 ex .442

thats a 125.00 cam, plus the ride. im cheap as most of you know. so if i buy the almost stock summit cam, specs are as follows
duration at .050 intake 194* exa 204* lift intake .398 ex .420

would that set off the computer? CAN I GO BIGGER? like
the next one up

you can run the 204/214 cam its not to big but you might need a comp. change

yeah, CHEAP man...
but the 194/204 should work with no mods to the computer?
im not out to build a powerhorse... YET. i have a SM465 and got the nice low gear. some day a doubler. so power is not a big deal yet. I JUST WANT TO DRIVE!

Gonna start lookin myself soon as the chalets 400 spun 5-6 rod bearings and has to come out...was thinkin the best way to do this is to call turbocity.com or howell engine development...as they could proveide a chip to work with this problem...

Grant. Just email comp and see what they say.
I just sent them all my facts and they sent me a spec'd out cam to get. was like $130. and is made to keep the computer happy.
