Anyone use Harris performance chips. My motor a 1990 350 in my suburban so far just a spacer got headers just haven't put them on doing to much work to the body right now

An off the shelf "one size fits all" chip sometimes gives no improvement whatsoever. A lot of these off the shelf chips are designed for a very specific combination of engine parts. If any one of those parts is not exactly as designed for the chip it will not work. If you go to Harris performance, or any other person who can custom burn a chip for you, should do some data logging. Then send them screen shots of this data logging, so they can custom burn a chip for your specific engines needs.

I've used Howell twice with nothing short of spectacular results

I've used his service. It wasn't bad, but I was able to optimize the tune a bit better after learning how it works.

I have never used his service, but a lot of the ideas for the increased performance parts I bought for my new TBI swirl port engine came from his reading material, and other stuff that is out there on the internet.

Not really sure if I want to keep bothering it with the TBI 350 think I'm going to put my old 455 back together gobs off torque there . Just have to buy a adapter from jegs

A 455 will run just fine on a 454 TBI set up

No thanks I can tune a quadrajet better then me messing with a TBI sett up and it's cheaper for me .
