TBI computer question

Just started looking through all the TBI stuff I just got :D and I was looking at the comp and it doesnt say anywhere that its a 7747. The only numbers that look familiar are the Service NO. 15147060 and another one below that is 16154461. Anyone know if this computer will work on my SBC 350? Thanks. Can get pics if they will help.

EDIT: Its out of a 91 g30 van if that helps.
 
Pics are a plus. If it is a 7747 ECM it is the prom inside that determines what engine it will work with. The prop is removeable so if you know what engine was in the van that would be a help as well.

Didn't you buy this from mr250twostroke? If so then i know that the engine in the van was a 350 but depending on what trans you have that portion might not work as the van had a 4L80E IIRC.

It was a 91 G30 350/4l60e van. 350's in my burb now which is what I bought it for.

Scott, we did have a conversation when I was in Cali about the tranny. I wasnt sure what came in it. The tranny was in the dirt when I picked up the van and I just tossed it in the back, trailered it home(I did start and run the van 1st), yanked and installed the motor in my burb and headed to Ca. After I got home the tranny was determined to be the 4l60e and has since left (thanks Kennyw:D).

It's a 4L80 not the 4L60, specially in a G30. That ECM will work on a 350....

Ok, I just got off the phone with KennyW. I was misinformed on the tranny (twice:doah:) and Kenny identified it at the Portland swap meet as a 4l80e. My apologies, I trusted the person(s) who told me. If I can do something to help solve this like hit the pick and pull for another comp, I will. Maybe a credit to you if you find one yourself. I really hate making mistakes so again, I am sorry:crazy:. I was told that it "can" be used with some xtra work and about $50:confused:.
Ill pm you my number and we can go from there.

the computer will run the motor, put I'm not sure about the lockout for the converter of your 700r4. I do have a computer for a 350/700r4 combo, and a box just for a 700r4. If you have any problems let me know, might be able to just trade you for the one you need, if you need one. I run sticks in all my tbi's now, and as long as its a 350 computer they are just fine.
 
I hope I'm not stepping on any toes, but I have two computers. One is from an 88 with 350/700r4, service no. is 1227747 AMUR, (according to Jet, the letters are important), it has the Jet 6-Pack in it. I do have the original chip for it. I also have one from an 89 with the 350/700r4 combo, it is 1227747 ANLW. It has the original chip still in it. I don't know what they are worth, or shipping from the southern tier of NY, but if you need one, I'd be happy to send one out.

No worries i sent you back a pm but if it will run the engine thats all i care about. I dont think my TC lockup is hooked up right now at all anyway.

This will kill a 700 pretty quick since the tranny will make all kinds of heat without the TCC working.
