I'm undertaking converting my 86 carb to TBI. I've already got the motor converted over to serpentine, TBi intake, TBI, 1987 harness, etc. I do have the two braided lines available at the TBI

1) Are there truly no options for a high volume mechanical pump for this conversion?
2) Can I just use the existing feed, return and vent lines? just a stock 350 TBI motor...
It sounds like the return might be a little small
3) I'm thinking about just dropping an inline pump and filter in back on the pax rail along with cutting and flaring the stock lines near where OEM setup would be for TBi....

1) You have to run an electric pump for smooth, consistent fuel pressure and flow.
2) Yes, use the existing lines on the frame and double flare the ends of the TBI lines and union them to the lines on the frame.
3) An inline pump (like an airtex e2000) will work back by the tank. You will have fuel delivery issues on hot days, the pump may not last too long etc. I would highly recommend that you step up and put a TBI style tank/sender/pump in it for the best results. Inconsistent fuel pressure is the single biggest issue I see in fuel injection conversions.
