I have a line on a TBI setup from a 93 truck (350). Will this bolt up to my 79 350?

I have to decide pretty fast. I searched and found some details.

like what he said u have to modify the center holes, if ur current motor has an aggressive cam the tbi is not going to like that

Stock cam.

I'm planning on taking:
Intake, distributor, all sensors, wiring harness, computer.

Am I missing anything?

Umm, the TB:D Get the portion of fuel lines going to the TB, that way you can flare them and stick rubber fuel hose on them.

You will also need a VSS sensor. You can buy one to go inline on the speedo cable. Painless sells them.

Also, you don't need to use the dual stud air cleaner if you don't want to. The studs can be replaced with regular bolts to hold down the TB, and then an earlier offset stud can be screwed in (between the injectors). There were varying lengths of offset studs between 2.8, 4.3, 5.7, and truck, van, etc.

you could also get an adapter to go from quadrajet to the throttle body so you don't have to change intakes.

i also used the gas tank/sendingunit/ fuel pump out of an 87 blazer i tryed to keep my truck as stock as possible so replacement parts were readily available, the tank itself will go up perfectly.

I was considering an adapter. I remember reading that there are some problems with it. I don't remember anything specific.

Thanks for the fuel line reminder. Would have missed that.

If you want to go junk yard hopping, you can get the fuel lines off of a tbi caprice, instead of going down the back of the engine, they loop around and drop down by where the factory mech. pump would go, so you don't have to re plumb fuel lines. they won't work with an air pump though.

I picked it up today. I paid $100.00

I got the intake, all sensors, computer, cruise control module, TBI, distributor, fuel lines that run down to the frame from the TBI, fuel pump assembly and fuel pump and complete unmolested wiring harness. When I say complete harness, the only thing that is missing, that I know of, is the wiring to the headlights lights and wires to the back of the truck. The only wires that were cut were the two to the starter.

Here's my question - The truck it was out of had the transmission that was electronic controlled (1993). What do I need to do to get the TBI/computer to work for the TH350?

What do you mean by "electronic controlled"? Is it just the lock-up function for the torque convertor? If so, you should be able to just leave it unplugged. Otherwise, I'm not much help.

TBI and transmissions are not my strongest areas of knowledge.

Here is the connector to the transmission:
