TBI distributor questions

take the TBI off a 4.3 and putting it on a 350, i originally wanted to run a HEI but with the plugins different, i don't think i can.

is it posible to replace the pickup coil and the cap (module is the same acordng to autozone) on the 4.3 distributor with those of a 350 and use it in the 350?

how hard is it to use a HEI distributor with ESC and TBI?

Using an older HEI distribeter will throw the timing way off. The mechanical and vacuum advance will play havoc with the computer not being able to control the timing.

Don't know if you could convert a 6 cyl distributer over to an 8 cyl....Why bother when HEI dizzies are a dime a dozen. Check that the pins for the advance springs are not worn out, this is a common problem.
