my 94 c1500 w/4.3L v6 was fine on tuesday morning. but after work, it had a major misfire (accompanied by a really fun vibration) and felt like it's pulling a trailer. the air/fuel ratio gauge looked like the engine couldn't manage the ratio properly, so faulty o2 sensor is a possibility. but, since the gauge gets its signal from said sensor, i know it's not completely dead.
i did the standard checks for a vac leak. visual, propane, carb cleaner on every hose and sealing surface on the intake side of the engine. no apparent leak. it started raining on me before i got to check the ignition system and i don't really have enough room to work in the garage.
any ideas why the "hard work" of sitting in my office parking garage for 10 hours would screw it up like that?
i don't have nearly as much time to check this stuff as i used to, so suggestions to narrow it down might help save me some testing time.
