TBI fuel pump w/carb?

Will a tbi in tank pump handle having a carb style non return regulator in front of it? Im having too much trouble with my tbi and want to go to a carb but I think I want to keep the in tank pump, any suggestions? By the way its a 87 r30 w/454. thanks

No you must have a return line or the pump will burn out.
Why not just fix your TBI? Its not that difficult.
