I am looking at shortening my 8ft bed down to approx. 6ft with a custom flatbed. So the factory fuel tank will no longer work. Is there a fuel cell out there that will work with the factory sending unit and pump? What other options are there?

why not a short bed 16 gal tank ?

or blazer tank up in the back .

2 cheapest options .

otherwise its custom build to reuse your stuff or full aftermarket setup as far as I know .

No Blazer tank up back, the frames cut off just behind the leaf spring hangers. I was trying to get rid of the saddle tanks.

possible s10 blazer tbi tank its smaller and still gm and tbi . a lot more square if I recall on some models .

I just moved my 20 gal saddle tank in to the toolbox in the back on my flat bed. as I had to repair and shorten my k30 frame from severe rust damage.

That's what I am looking at doing as well. Moving the tank to the flatbed behind the cab. Then making an enclosure of sorts for it.

I used an off the shelf fuel cell then used a e2000 fuel pump on the frame I sources out of junk yard efi 351 ford trucks for $10 each to run my tbi 454.
