TBI headers/emissions question

I've got an '87 350tbi K5 and I'm about to replace the stock exhaust system. My new Hedmann headers don't have the emissions ports etc. on them. Will bypassing the emissions air flow stuff effect performance? I don't have to do the smog test where I live because its 25 years old. I'm sure people have experience with this? Thanks guys!

I don't believe TBI has any problems with disconnecting/bypassing AIR.

The AIR pump is long gone off of my 88 Sub and it doesn't affect it in any way.
