Alright, so I finally got my TBI running ok in my 84 k5 with at 79' 350. Thing is, is that when i first start the motor it runs great, alot of power; once it warms up it runs ok, but doesn't have as much power as when it was cold. Also when its cold it idles at about 1200 rpm. All the sensors appear to be working properly, and there are no codes. I am not running the EAC, and I am using the EGR valve that came with the 79' 350.

The EGR valves used with TBI are negative back pressure valves and are completely different in operation than the valve of a 79 engine. The TBI stuff also uses an EGR solenoid so having the wrong valve could definately become a problem. Now running without the EGR valve won't hurt anything BUT EGR does help cool the combustion chamber and reduce the chance of detonation. I would disconnect and plug the EGR system and see what happens then go from there. Also if the cam isn't FI friendly that will be your biggest hurdle to overcome.

ok, I will try unplugging the egr. Is there a way to hook up a tbi egr onto my engine?

I'm assuming you're using a carb intake with an adapter for the TBI? IIRC the mounting and shape is different between a carbed EGR valve and a TBI EGR valve so the answer would be no.
