tbi ignition module wiring

O.k. there are two wires in the distributor that go to the module, 1 yellow and 1 green, as you are facing the distributor from the driver side fender which one should be on the left and which one should be on the right? I think I may have found my problem and I am paying for being lazy, I had taken my K5 to a shop for a problem I was having instead of trouble shooting myself, they ended up swapping out the module so they say.

let me rephrase the question, what color wire is positive, green or yellow

I think my tbi ignition module wires were black and white so you may need to find a wiring diagram.

good news is I figured out the wiring, bad news is there is no single answer fo this one, depending on the manufacturer (O.E or aftermarket) not all the distributors have the same color wires inside, went to autozone to confirm this and sure enough they had a remanufatured distributor but it had two white wires one was the neg. the other was the pos., if you have the wires crossed it will still start but it will run like crap.
