I plan on doing a motor build for the 90 sub in the not to distant futer and this is what i have come up with so far.

383
forged pistons (probly dished for about 9:1 compresion)
LT1 conecting rods
vortech heads(possibly ported and behive springed)
edelbrock or GMPP tbi manifold(for vortech to TBI)
454 throttle body
adjustable FPR
tri Y headers
dual 2.25 inch exaust
and a chip if needed
and a comp cams 12-304-4 cam(700 to 4700rpm powerband and is said to be stock chip friendly)

What do you think am i forgeting anything important? Will i need a chip? Any feed back would be cool for planing. /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

I have heard that when you use the 454 throttle body that you actually would want to turn the fuel presure down because the 454 injectors flow more /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Yeah, if you have a fuel tank from a GM that had TBI, the fuel pump is in the tank. If not, you can pick up an external.

yep the tank is an origanl that allready has the pump and baffle from the TBI /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
