TBI motor ?

Well it's popping threw the TBI unit some times . With a vacuum leak cause it cause it's never popped threw it before driven this motor for a year now 1990 suburban TBI 350 . Or it's had a vacuum leak long enough to burn a valve . Just went outside and sprayed the intake and it does make a change in idle so I do have a vacuum leak never had a motor pop threw carb or TBI unit with a vacuum leak

Well changed the intake gasket .that wasn't it . still pops under a load but not all the time . I'm going to do a compression test next

How's the timing?

It's set at zero ° just put a new cap on it and new coil no luck . Going to change the control module tomorrow.

And I did unplug the brown black wire before I set the timing

Going to put a new timing chain in it

Didn't put the timing chain in. Worked on cleaning all the grounds on the motor and body . Now it only popps when it's hot under a load.

Fixed it went to install the module and the bolt broke so I order a new distributor runs great now . But idle is a little ruff always was . Found out when I had the computer out it has a jet performance chip in it . How are they ?
