TBI on SB

I have an 89 with a 350. But it is blowed up now. SO... I am planning to build a bigger SB but I still wanna run the TBI. I have searched and searched and searched and I can not find the article I read a long time ago about using a BB TBI on a SB when you build a big one.

Ok so here is the question. I am looking for info on building a very health TBI engine for my 89 Sub. Specifically, info on using the BB or a modified TBI unit. I will take links to articles or hand typed info. I will read anything that anyone posts. I don't have a problem with doing the research, but I just wasn't getting anywhere with my personal research.

I recomend a bored SBC TB over a 454 TB on a small block.

Well at this point I think that I am going to build a 400SB, or larger. I have recently become acquainted with a real cool dude who seems to have the mad engine building skills. I have talked with him extensively about the basics of building and he has passed my BS Detector so far. I have also seen a couple motors he has assembled and they sound great and run perfectly.

I want to keep the TBI so that my remote start and such still work on the burb. But I am absolutely completely tired of getting my ass handed to me by every little econobox and ricer on the street. Plus I am moving up to 35's and one ton running gear, so the thing ain't gettin any lighter.

But I digress... were you asking for any particular reason?

Hey, where are you living these days. I see the cop car down on S 3rd? Is that your place? I don't think there are enough broke vehicles in the yard to be your house.

yeah the cop car is still mine, been on craigslist for a while and one guy keeps dicking me around on it, but has yet to come over to test drive it. theres enough rigs there that the city keeps getting complants from the one neighbor. but luckly all but one drive, and it's in the middle of a engine swap.

I was just wondering cause i'd be interested in picking up that old one for a k10 i found.

Oh that changes daily, i need a daily driver that gets more then 6mpg, so i want to buy a ranger, toy or s-10. something that is a 4cyl and 5 speed 2wd.

I actually have 2 motors to rebuild but I have found a couple trucks I want to pick up and drop them into and resale.
