Cool, the affordable fuel injection guy. Is it your business? I think they/you were just getting on-line when I did my project. I bought a kit from customefis.com, which worked out okay, but the guy was kind of hard to work with... and the harness is kind of weird - it has no crank sensor or VSS input, so I might have to hack into it to get that stuff done some day.

Oh, and he wouldn't let me have the bin file he was working from for some reason, even though I eventually just read it back myself to make some changes. He kind of gave up on me after the vehicle kept running lean. He was sure I had a leak somewhere, but I think he thought I had bigger injectors than I do and had too small of a base pulse width...

Sorry for the tangent.
I have worked here for three years and they have been in business for seven years. We don't leave anyone behind! Bought a few systems back to make people happy, some were man enough to call back and say it didn't run well with the carb either because of (place reason here) !

We only use a crank sensor on the buick odd fire a lot of guys have in there Jeeps from years ago. Don't need a VSS with a TBI unit but can be added for decel purpose I think is the only thing on TBI or if you need 700r4 controls.

Back to the subject, TBI is very reliable. But a lot of guys don't know how to diagnose a problem with it on the trail like they do a carb and points. Bottom line is it probably won't ever fail enough to leave you stuck. A little time will show you how to diagnose and repair in case of failure. And you shouldn't be wheeling alone anyway! :doah:

TBI is the best mod I've done to my rig. It just runs good all the time. Nuff said.

Makes my IH 345 run as good as a 90's TBI chevy!

I also converted the GM distributor to the IH for fuel/spark control ECM...

We also do Fords, AMC, Mopar, motorhomes and marine engines. Face it the GM stuff is great!

Thats a pretty nice air breather there, Eagle Mark. What is it? Looks like something I might be able to use on my blazer!

It's off a 91 to 93 Chevy Caprice. With the distributor and thermostat in front it's actually mounted back-wards in the picture. It is a low profile air-filter which works great on the Scout. With the chevy truck you can use the stock air filter and snorkels for cold air, no hood clearance problems...

I don't know what you have? But here are some links to full systems, if you have some parts we can do just a harness as well.

We have a lot of options for the Chevy. Starting with the TBI system which is a low cost fuel and ignition controlled system.

The TBI Conversion! Fuel only TBI conversion. This uses your electronic ignition. If you have points look at the next system.

Complete EFI System! Fuel and spark control by adding an EFI distributor.

We also have Multi Point Fuel Injection and the Tuned Port Injection system.

Some motors with very large cams may need a custom system with programmable ECM option. Check out our Custom Built High Performance Systems.

Also check out our Fuel Injection Information page.

Let me know if you need anymore information.
