TBI or Carb?

If you had it to do over again, and spent most of your time mudding, or in water, which would you choose? Seems TBI is naturally better, though not as much performance and more things to go wrong.

I am guessing a lot of opionions are going come on this one. Personally I like the KISS theory of keep it simple stupid. My k5 is carbed and I think about going tbi but I like it when a fuel pump is cheap, no electronics to worry about so carb for me.

carb = no brain and tbi = brain... so lets see.. tbi would be nice.. but just drop a .610 lift cam in both and see which one runs without special assist other than a cam....

I like the ida of a carb since they are so simple but the TBI has it benefits too.
I guess you should go woth whatever you are more comfortable with. I am fine when it comes to troubleshooting the TBI, so i will leave it on my truck.

I dont think the best carb in the world can compete with a TBI setup when it comes to rock crawling or hill climbs.

What about mud and water? That's my main thing, I am really good at hydrolocking and really effing things up with sand/water/mud combonations. Of course I guess I can always change it.
