hey guys running TBI 350's in there trucks, could you post a pic or two of your intake where all the sensors mount and which intake bolts go where. i just need a pic of which intake bolts need to have the studs sticking out of them and which are just regular bolts. any pics are apriciated, thanks for your guy's help

Dont have pics right now, but with you standing infront of the truck this is what you should have beginning at the front of the motor:

1. first and last bolt on drivers side (cyclinder 1; for alternator support and engine lifting hook bracket, and cyclinder 7 for accelerator cable bracket) has stud
2. first bolt on passengers side (cyclinder 2) has stud for battery ground.
3. passenger side bolts at cyclinder 6 has studs for MAP, EGR vaccum solenoid and EST sensor bracket.
4. last bolt on passenger side (cyclinder 8 for lifting hook bracket) has stud.

Bit of a thread-jack:
That's a great looking motor Scott. I really like the valve covers. Are those standard height or tall? Would they work with 1.6:1 roller rockers?

They are slightly taller than stock and my 1.6 Comp Magnum roller rockers reside under them. :thumb:

What kind of headers are those? Is the black a special coating?

Those headers are Flowtech for 88-95 body style. The paint is just some rattle can 1200* black I had and naturally it burned off within the first 10 minutes.

i used the VHT flameproof paint on a set of headers back about 10 years ago. When I pulled the headers and motor out to swap in the 6.2 diesel they were still silver. They'd gone three years including winters with salt and crap and still looked good.

I did have them sandblasted first though. I'm pretty sure no matter what you spray over the cheap-ass black the headers come with it'll burn off.

I also bead blast headers before painting them AND I also paint the inside as well. It really doesn't concern me that the paint burned off as I may be going back to stock manifolds anyways. I'm tired of fiddling with headers and the problems related to them and as I get older I realize that just driving the rig is all I care about over how much power it makes.
