TBI pressure test fitting

How about this thing? It goes between the TBI and the pressure hose. Think I can leave it installed?

If you're talking about the fitting i linked you to then yes you leave it installed and leave a small gauge attached to it so when you're under the hood you can see the fuel pressure.

I've got a similar fitting with a shraeder valve on it. I left it on there and I'm hoping it's ok. I've not seen any leaks as long as I disconnect the guage when I'm done testing.

The line on the driverside is the fuel inlet and that's the line that gets the fitting and gauge. I'll see if i can snap a pic when i get home tonight and post it here.

Why does the site that sells that fitting recommend using permetex No2 to seal the plug and full gauge? I just figured teflon tape like all other pipe fittings. Am I missing the boat on this? :eek1:

I just used teflon sealer (permatex 14A), i tried teflon tape but it leaked.
