i got a tbi 305 and it seems to miss at the bottom end when you excellerate especially under load but soon as it hits 2500 or so and it runs fine /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif wtf /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
any way does anyone have any ideas

check your fuel filter first. when was it last replaced. what kind of shape is the fuel pump in? does it only happen under hard acceleration?

already replaced the fuel filter not to sure about the fuel pump but it runs fine after 2500 it's just below that /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Now this may sound kinda silly, but my 88 was missing at lower rpm's and it turned out that she needed a new set of plugs and wires. Just a thought. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Does it have a mech fuel pump?
I had a fuel pump brand new with a screwed up spring in it that would cause the truck to run at idle or WOT. normally , but in between it would run like a bag of crap
A new pump and all was normal again
Just a thought /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

my vote is plug wires and plugs. my 90 was doing same thing. plug wires were only 1 yr old. changed fuel filter and rebuilt tbi still had problem. changed wires and ran fine.

yea i was kinda leaning on the wires too but was still unsure but you guys pushed me over the edge i'll have to get some and throw them in /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
i'll let you know if it solves the problem /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
