so while installing the distributor I sparked the distributor on the oil pressure switch on the back of the engine. On this wiring diagram it shows an inline fuse.

Any ideas if the fusible link shown in the pic. The one I’m pointing at. Is that the fuse mentioned? Or somewhere else in the loom?

Thanks for any advice

So I tried bypassing the switch and no fuel pump. Makes me wonder if that is the right link it shows voltage on both sides. But I have been misled by fusible links before. Maybe this post should be in another forum?

Looks like a fusible link in the first picture. Gotta replace it if there's no continuity between the ends. I hate fusible links and refuse to use them.

I would think more things would be inop if the link blew. check continuity at fuseable link. If thats ok, check ecm a&b fuses under dash. if ok, jump term a&e terminals at fuel pump relay on firewall. Are you positive no fuel pump? or just no fuel spray? May have shorted ign control module or pickup coil in distributor when you arced it.

Where did you get that shop manual? I like the factory connector end views. Better than my prodemand subscription.

Those diagrams are a little confusing to look at, and I think they may be more for the C/K trucks than the R/V. ECM-B fuse powers the fuel pump relay and the oil pressure switch on a R/V. The C/Ks use a fusible link with a fuse after the fuel pump relay.

Use a test light and make sure there is power at the orange wire at the oil pressure switch and at the fuel pump relay. It is hot at all times.

If there is power at those connectors then take a jumper wire and power the red wire that breaks out of the harness just below the fuel pump relay, the pump should run as long as the relay is good and plugged in.

If the pump does not run with the red wire powered by a jumper wire then disconnect the fuel pump relay and apply power to the tan/white wire and see if the pump runs, if it doesn't the pump is probably bad. If it runs then the relay is bad.

Hope this helps.

The shop manual pic was from google. Sorry I can't help you there.

Thanks for the help guys. Turned out to be a fusible link with a terrible connection. Finally back up and running this week! Thanks!
