i need a new throttle body(the origional crackednear the feul line entrance) i have a 305 and finding a used one is hard , but i have found many used ones for350's . would i run into trouble putting a 350 tbi unit on my 305?

YES! you will have all sorts of problems cause of the different injectors, but what you can do is get the 350 TB and put your injectors in it. that will work.
