morning, I have an 89 Blazer the question I have is what's the difference between a throttle body on a 350 and a throttle body on a 305? My Blazer doesn't have the original motor (originally a 350, the owner before me put a 305 in it) and it looks as if they just swapped the throttle body from the 350 on to the 305. The serial # on the throttle body is 1787101. Is that going to cause me any problems?

The difference is in the injectors. A 350 should have injectors with the last 3 numbers of "206"

Nope, I know the TBI's are the same but the injectors might be different which shouldn't cause you any problems.

Thanks for the replies the injectors were different.

In my case it was huge. A long time ago I paid a place to build me a TBI conversion kit and it ran awful for years despite my best tuning effort and going around with the guy. He unknowingly sent my 305 injectors. You might get away with it if you change the tune to know about the small injectors, but without it, the base pulse width is hopelessly low.
