TBI return line pressure

Can you test fuel pressure on the feed line by using just putting a guage on the return line on a stock TBI system?
Does any one know what the return pressure should be stock?

It is an open ended line so pressure would be minimal.

I don't think so, because the pressure regulator is in between. There could be a big pressure differential between the two.

Fuel pressure can only be checked on the feed line.
