TBI spacer with carb...what to do with nipple?

my airfilter housing rubbs my fuel line on my carb adn has cut it twice. so i put a tbi spacer in between the carb and airfilter bottom. What should i do with the nipple thingy? wrap it in duct tape or could i get a breather with a nipple too and run 3/8 vacuum hose in between them and have a 2nd "pcv" system?

THanks im a little worried about that being exposed and then playing in the mud

It's above the throttle plates so it's basically a spare breather tube, not vacuum so you can just tape it or put a bit of hose on with a bolt stuffed in the end. You can run a regular breather to it but it won't work as a proper PCV inlet as there is no real vacuum there like below the plates.

pipe it to the valve cover opposite of your PCV valve. we had a discussion about this last week.
