I've been running a automatic trans chip in mine no problem. I can get auto chips, but the only manual one I can get is going into the K5 this spring, when I replace the wires.
i got a 88 350 auto chip i am going to try. i had gotten a hot chip from someone and thay think my problems are from to much timming curve in the program. so before i send it back for a redo. i wanted to install stock and drive it to make sure its not on my end for the problem.
reason i dont use orignal was it is a 305 to 350 conversion job. so thats why i needed a 350 chip. will let ya know if i still need one.
