TBI swap questions

I have just gotten an 86 4WD burb and have a 89 2WD burb. I want to swap in everything for the TBI to the 86. I plan to just swap the motors to save some hassle. I know that I need the tank and fuel lines from the 89 tbi burb but what else do I need? I know the computer and wiring just not sure where the computer is or what wiring I need. I also plan to try and swap the dash guages from the 89 since the ones in the 86 dont work. So what all do I need?

Swap the harness and EVERYTHING attached to it. The ECM is located behind the glovebox.

Am I looking at the entire under dash harness then?

I'm not too sure about that but it would make absolutely sure you had everything done correctly if you do swap ALL of the harness, especially if you want to swap guage clusters also.

okay thanks! Guess I will also be doing the grill swap while I am at it. Seems like it might be easier to swap the entire harness over.

I am also going to be swapping the carpet, front seats, overhead console and maybe a couple doors so I guess it is a good thing I have the whole donor vehicle to use.

In order to swap the grill you need to swap the radiator support as well.

No problem there i have the comlete vehicle and already have the grill/rad support removed from the 89.
