I have a fuel leak at my an adapter to my Tbi unit. Can I use Teflon tape or pipe compound on this connect. It is the aluminum adapter to the steel Tbi fuel inlet?

Thanks,
Ray

stock tbi sender nut ?

if so how is the condition of the o-ring for its seal . ?

otherwise AN fitting help I have none I don't play with them .

Using a Russell (670530) metric adapter -6AN to 16mm 1.5 to the stock TBI nut. This is where the leak is occurring. The stock nut has a new plastic washer and is sealing.

Only fittings you can use tape on are pipe threads.

only spot that gets washer seal is at tbi its self . and that's the adaptors that thread in to the tbi unit its self. then the hard lines from up the back of the motor to it are o-ring sealed .

rest of the fittings are o-ring seal . napa / autozone / others have the gas rated O-rings in the dorman / help type packs.
