TBI to carb swap

Speed density is MAP (like TBI, and later TPI). Are you thinking MAF?

There is no such thing as a computer friendly cam, companies should be sued for false advertising for propagating this myth. Without a wideband O2 sensor as an integral part of the injection system, no system will ever be able to compensate under certain conditions for changes in fueling and timing requirements caused by a cam swap.

Will a mild cam work without modifications/tuning? Most likely. Will it work correctly compared to the tune for the factory cam? Not a chance.

Yes my bad, and its just tuning around the cam.. and with a haltech or some stand alone you can use a wideband o2.

A good tuner can make a cammed car work just as good.. if this wasnt the case noone with an LS would swap cams.. TBI is really limited because by nature the computer doesnt have the resolution and isnt using wideband to control the fuel/timing accurate enough to run well..
As with all cams usually there is some comprimise.. but we all know that.

It looks like they already talked you out if it. Good. In case you were still thinking about it, DON'T.
