So on my 89 with a rebuilt 355 lately it has been acting up but only after say about an hour of driving. at first i had thought it was my fuel filter that i replaced about 4 months ago now so i put in a new one and thought i had it cured but again today after about 2 hours of driving it falls flat on its face so the rpm goes from say 1600 to 1000 and trying to accelerate is diffucult unless you floor it and it will pick up like someone flicked a switch. also the tank in the truck is about 3 years old and the pump is a year old and from napa. so i also noticed that at idle when i was watching the 2 injectors that it seemed like they were both dripping at idle (550-650) but when i gave it gass the pattern looked good and they were both the same. so i put in some fuel injector cleaner in the last tank and am now about a 1/4 way into it. Is there anyway to clena out the injectors yourself? so ive read other posts about this problem and am thinking about the ignition control module and maybe the egr? not to sure where the ignition module is but i was also thinking about a coil too. so any help would be very appreciated. i need to go back up to the bush hunting
