My 88 K5 350 tbi will sometimes run rough and not want to accelerate and will die when at an idle. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about tbi. My 79 C20 has a healthy 406 and is all performance, but is carbed, and I know how to work on it.

The k5 has a new GM replacement crate engine that now has 6k miles on it. I think I replaced the O2 sensor when I put a new exhaust manifold on one side, when I put the new engine in. At the same time, I changed the in line fuel filter that is on the frame rail. Plugs, wires, cap, and rotor were also new with the engine.

Do you have any links to web pages that explain how tbi works or what would need to be checked or replaced when there are issues? In the past, the check engine light didn't come on, but over the last week it has flashed on for a few seconds and then it went out. The problem is intermittent. I have to have it smoged this month......stupid Komnifornia.

Thanks guys

Thanks for the link. I read through it and that should get me started.
