TBI upgrade?

Got an 88 Blazer with a stock TBI. Lookig into upgrading to a high flow TBI unit. Was interested if anyone has done this, and what are your thoughts? Have seen units from Holley, Turbo City, and Arizona Speed & Marine. Someday when the motor goes, would like to upgrade to a performance crate motor, like the ZZ4. Heard guys having difficulty with TBI's and crate motors, so that makes me concerned to upgrade and run into trouble down the road.

On a stock motor you will get very little from more air or fuel flow. When you build it up or replace it with a ZZ3 or whatever, you will need to do more than change the TBI unit to make it work correctly. I would wait until you get the new crate motor ready to install.
